Dr. Dang completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis in 1995. In 1999, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry. She graduated with honors and received awards from the Berkeley faculty in Vision Development and the Dean's Award for her graduate thesis.

Dr. Dang grew up in the Bay Area and now lives with her husband and three young daughters in Dublin. Her loves are travelling, food, friends and family.
